Poesy Rider Vraiment une belle surprise cet album ! ça ne part pas dans tous les sens, simplicité oblige, mais c'est loin d'être linéaire et on ne s'ennuie pas une seconde. Belle réussite ! Favorite track: For her ache.

maroutas The sophomore full length of the Greek metallers, this is a step up from their promising debut. In just under 40', this album showcases six engaging tracks with diverse vocals ranging from low growls to power metal screams and everything in between, solid music compositions that travel between prog, avant-garde and doom with ease and well timed violin passages which remind you that this is not a typical metal record. Highly recommended. Favorite track: Τέλος.

yiannis The album is something between
post metal with prog and classic metal
blend together
and the orchestra of violins has a cinematic feeling
interesting sound Favorite track: Sweetest Denial.

Once 04:35
"I remember momma reading me a bedtime tale, as thousand unaccountable stimulants were passing over me" "I remember when I was feeling unconcerned in the playgrounds of my vicinity, and that everything was just a great play with me as protagonist. I remember all the myths and the epic battles, as I' m sitting in the bench where sometime I was eating my carefree ice cream, but now I' m smoking as I recollect a time where everything was purely beautiful, and the words coming from my parents' mouth weren’t any disturbing. Then... When the world would end in a burst of delight and fireworks, and everyone would heave into Paradise, not with the misery… the decline… all lost in an obscured, neverending void" Circling around the neighborhood Reliving almost forgotten memories Thinking of what he wanted to be Considering if he is happy now "I remember when there was God. I remember when there was freedom! And all those things now seem so strangely, as if you recalled a fable that someone recounted you when you were a child, a childish story that now makes no sense, though you really wish it was true. He acts like he’s in a movie He wonders if everyone’s the same If all the nursery rhymes Are guiding everyone’s life now “Why this alluring sense of decline? Why can’t I detect life’s simplicity? Should I embrace it just the way it is? Or should I wish I had never been born?” He’s flooded with mixed feelings Sad for everything he’s not Happy for everything he dreamed And the walk through memory lane has finally come to an end

she's lost searching for her fairytale and I feel warm with all the things she says Even her voice reveals the pain that she feels things that she 'll never let out you can hear the ache of her heart she's the girl with the broken voice drunk, asleep like me she carries the weight around convinced she's destined to be the unworthiest Eva around you can see all over her parents ugly hand you can feel her try to reach standards so low damn you for crippling her for killing the child within obliterating her fantasies let her be her own damn thing my sweet girl with your broken voice she's lost in search for her fairytale in a land of loneliness she was my only hope In a scape of nightmares she was a lonely whore Been left to grow with the old and tired but they died in her teens leaving her to carry their wound drunk, asleep like me she carries the weight around convinced she's destined to be the unworthiest Eva around you can see all over her parents ugly hand in denial is the state I'm living cause it was sweeter protecting you than losing you, but I didn't know that I would find another love and then another one covering all my emptiness from which you run away You were so forced into the grown up world and stripped from your fantasies oh, the lame hours I spent thinking of you I was seduced by your sweet and broken voice

For her ache 06:49
It's dark and wet and I am not still Waiting when I'll breathe by myself KICKING MY WAY OUT! They're so naive and joyful, but then regretting The shouting starts and never ends And she won't divorce you She prefers to torture you and torture us HIT HER HARD IN THE FOREHEAD The shouting starts and never ends HIT HER HARD IN THE FOREHEAD LEAVE US ALONE TEAR ME APART I hated you And it was easy But deep down inside I loved you So I’m doing what you were doing Shouting at her on every detail Every detail Points the picture of her ache Every little drop of sadness Every life she led to madness I'll be my own thing in the shadow of others I'll showcase myself even if I'm not pretty I’ll find younger men so not to deal with the concepts A person of my age would normally care I no longer care Every detail Points the picture of her ache Every little drop of sadness Every life she led to madness

Crash 04:44
You run, you run, you run, to catch up with your stress And you bitchin about the fact that everyone is a selfish motherfucker Though you know that you’re not that much better Collecting stamps, figures, DVDs and stuff Only to get bored of them after a while, just Marching to your dance of death Beating the drums of Hell! And You run and you run and you run, to catch up with your stress But deep down you know, that there's no salvation All your worries, your sad stories, cannot go away but you try, you try You try To bury them under layers of booze and drugs and running fast But then came a day where you had to pay With the taste of broken bones and torn up flesh It’s a small price to pay to numb your worrying mind But hey, it's OK if you can stand the pain "There's so much blood but I don't feel anything" Have to let out what you can't tolerate, can't comprehend, and make them matter Every day is a quest to get laid, a quest to find someone that can stand this stress But no one will ever follow, so you just switch from one to the other But then came a day where you had to pay With the taste of broken bones and torn up flesh It’s a small price to pay to numb your worrying mind But hey, it's OK if you can stand the pain You need substances to calm your nerves, you're so nervous you can't even stand yourself Have to let out "There's so much blood but I don't feel the pain I lay later drunk in morphine" It’s a small price to pay to numb your worrying mind But hey, it's OK if you can stand the pain

How much time do we have? 5 years? How much time do we have, maybe a hundred years? Will comets fall, from the sky above, like tears? Is it gonna be one of our usual fears? Will we ever see the story of our pitiful end? Will it be majestic, will it cleanse our fears? Will it be just stupid, a human mistake? Or has already started and we just play dump? Sin and sin and sin Drain all the resources, spill all the water Further expand your knowledge, till you reach zero hour We pray for science fiction That we may never see The expiration date Maybe is close In a blink of an eye everything becomes light. Or nothing. We are nothing but a grain of sand in an endless beach Magnificent achievements swept away By the tidal wave of Armageddon We pray for science fiction That we may never see The expiration date Maybe is close Prophecies to scare little children Hatch our fears through all our lives Exorcising bigger questions Never let us free Everything is destined to end And it makes me tremble, I cannot find rest I just watch the world crumble before my eyes And I pray that this is all a bad dream Everything is destined to end And it makes me tremble, I cannot find rest The world changes in a second of time So check in your calendar your own demise We pray for science fiction That we may never see The expiration date Maybe is close Prophecies to scare little children Hatch our fears through all our lives Exorcising bigger questions Never let us free

Τέλος 08:54
It’s ending now A full circle of incidents Those seem so pointless now Cliffhanging dates Forgetting yesterday Staring in my own act Sometimes I behave like I’m in a play A role forged by nighttime fairy tales There‘re moments I think I am the only one around And there are others trying to Find the strength not being afraid I tried to seek Through other people’s lives The answers that torment me All I got was questions And a strong sense that I lost my time Cause of Primal fears Signing to you is all I want to do In wept and angry tunes on mixed up styles A taken melody from an ex best friend Endless, sleepless nights observing all kind of tales Singing for angry gods, seeking for heroes Choosing ugly monsters, or noble zeros Personalized emotions, to show us truths Lost in translation, on each other’s beliefs Everything dies unless the story ends early Together we stand, until we’re not Not really much to do but enjoy it while it lasts So join me in this tale that has a bitter taste It’s ending now And I’m not feeling wiser than before Just one step before the end of the line One step before I finally close my eyes Please, please give me more, Give me, give me more Please, please, just a little more, Just a little more
